ERROR: Could not find zone

Hello

I was attempting to install a custom zombie mod, then i got this error.

ERROR: Could not find zone 'C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty - World at War\zone\(null)\code_post_gfx.ff'

I was booted back to my desktop and havent been able to play since. I didnt delete anything, change anything, or move anything. Could you please help.

Also before I get this error i get a message saying "WIN_IMPROPER_QUIT_BODY" and my options are YES  NO   CANCEL and no matter which i choose (except cancel) i get the above noted error

black ops 1 wont let me play online comes up with server unavailable but it is only my profile that it happens on my brothers is fine works all the time so plz help as i love black ops 1

Why can't I connect to the black ops servers?

I've been trying to connect to the black ops 2 servers cause I wanted to buy the rest to the map pack I was missing so I could play the zombies maps with some friends. It keeps giving me the message: Can't connect to Black Ops server. My friends say I could be banned but I don't see why I would be. Is there a way for me to play on the servers again? I don't want to buy a new account just to play black ops 1 again. plz respond

New gun suggestion (one of many I'm sure )

So the new rumor I've heard is that DLC packa may contain new weapons and I'm sure if that's true then these weapons have already been selected but ill give my suggestion anyway

LWRC six8 UCIW

8.5" bbl piston driven m4 style proprietary 6.8 spc II personal defense carbine

this weapon would be similar to what the peacemaker in black ops 2 was

iit is only slightly larger than an SMG so it should have a mobility bonus but with te advances

iin ammunition ( specifically the 95grain barnes ttsx loaded by silver state armory )

this is gun can shoot a projectile @ 2400-2600 fps that will still expand / fragment at 1700 fps or higher giving it an effective range of 300 +meters .after that it starts to drop off so maybe 450-500 meters max

that being said I think this gun should fall in the assault rifle category with the range damage and for the mot part accuracy of the ACR of moder warfare 3 but a higher mobility and higher fire rate , and full 30 round magazine

iI'm not sure how range is calculated in call of duty but for comparison purposes lets just say a marksman rifle should have an effective range of 800 Meters an assault rifle 600 and this weapon  400 meters

 

nnext suggestion also in the assault rifle category mostly because that is my favorite type of gun

.50 Beowulf this is a standard ar-15/m-16 rifle that shoots a .50 caliber bullet this gun should probably be semi auto only maybe with 3 round burst but due to high recoil would be uncontrollable effective range 200+ meters or about 4x that of a shotgun , with shotgun slug compatible damage .

Now i would like to discuss this error with the community, when you have had the message for a long time it generally means your banned like me. Fair enough Treyarch you banned me, but i never understood why, a couple of years back i got into a hacked lobby got a kill and left, i didn't intend on joining a lobby and it didn't really affect me in any way, as i was already 15th prestige. Now before i start sounding like a little moaning kid, i would just like to say on the behalf of me any many others, why have we been punished for something we didn't do, i mean the bans are fine for the hosters, but i cant do anything about joining a hacked lobby. Anyway i'm 18 years old and i just want to play zombies with a few friends on my account, the games 3 years old, i believe you should un-ban people, i mean i have had this for over 2 years.

 

 

It seems silly to ask, but its an old game, surely fun is your aim?

 

Would be nice to see other peoples views on this below.

Hello Treyarch and Players who will read this topic,

I am getting allot of Fatal Error's those days.

I have no idea what the reason could be that i am getting those Error's.

I also made a printscreen but before i will show it to u i will say some more info about when it happens and what happens if i get the Error.

The Fatal Error only pops up when i am in a map (I don't say it cant happen outside a map but i havnt got 1 there yet).

The Fatal Error comes like every 2 hours (That was 3 days ago)
I didnt realy care about it at that point because that was some kind of call to me to go to the WC and take a walk  .
But now i am getting them each 20min or so and that is making me mad   .

When the Fatal Error comes, the game will freeze and will stop working.
And i have to Ctrl+Alt+Dell to close the game with Windows Task Manager.

I hope this is just a bug that will get fixed, because atm i am doing really well i must say.

Have my first prestige and i am lvl 33 already (i know i know i am a no lifer    ).

Uploading clips from COD to the website.

I have been playing Call of Duty for awhile. and I wanted to try getting some of the clips on youtube. well I made an accound here on CallofDuty.com and I am not sure if there is a certain way to link your xbox live profile to the site. But I went in to the beta theater and followed the instructions. I clicked link accounts and then clicked on xbox 360 and then it took me to live.com and I used the SAME email I used for my xbox live accound. then it brought me back to the site. but there was no videos. so I got on my game and followed the instructions and changed the name to UPLOAD CLIP and made sure they where under 30 seconds each. and then clicked the render thing. it played the slip then it said Notice your clip has been successfully uploaded. visit theater.callofduty.comto watch your clip and view others from Call of Duty community. So i typed that URL and it brought me back to the beta theater with nothing in the video slots. any ideas?

And also is there a way to like the gamer prfile to the site? when i am on the site it says my rank is private and i am wondering if there is a way to just link it so all of your stats from black ops are on the site as well.

Black Ops Launch Error Code

I've recently tried to launch Black ops on Steam on my computer but an error code keeps coming up when ever i try to launch it!


[Error during initialization:
Failed to validate c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\main\localized_English_iw06.iwd]

^That error code suggest that some of my files are corrupted/missing? I have tried to re-install black ops but it doesn't really do anything! Please help!

I cannot open\play\or uninstall Black ops on my PC. It was running great for a long time then this happens...

Game killing bug during Revelation (PC)

I am playing the PC version of the game.

During the Revelation mission, at one point Hudson punches your character in the face. The game then goes into a flashback scene. After you wake up, Hudson is pointing a pistol at your character's face.

When I arrive at this part, the game glitches. Hudson speaks for a moment. Sunglasses then suddenly appear on his face. His pistol disappears and an AK-47 appears in his hands. After about a second or two, the AK and sunglasses disappear and he points the pistol at your character's face again.

After this, he goes perfectly still. He never says anything else, nor does he move at all. The sound continues, and the static on the television screens continues. However, the game is essentially stuck at this point. I am unable to continue the game.

I have very much enjoyed the single player experience up until this point, and I'm hugely disappointed that I cannot finish the game.

Is there any fix out there for this?

im on black ops 2 for ps3...set up elite for my clan but when i go to invite my friends to join the clan on call of duty elite..it says error to call of duty elite server service....i been online tryin to contact support and what not...theres not even a topic of any elite issues anywhere nothing.....so if anyone knows why i cant invite my clan members to elite please help me....can add me to psn also to talk name is rastarhino-   and i also have a teamspeak server at ip dnd.halfcrap.com

cannot find valid install 1.4 patch

I installed W@W to the default location and I have 1.3 installed.  I downloaded the patch from 3 different locations so I know it is not a bad dl. 

When I start the patch, it states that it cannot find an install of Call of Duty... Call of Duty must be installed to run the patch.

I another person in the ToB clan is experiancing this same problem.  He has XP, I am running Vista 32. 

The game launches fine, so the install is good.  INPUT?

COD Black Ops: Zombies IOS - Multiplayer not working

ive just bought cod black ops zombies for ios, im running an iphone 4s on 6.1.1 and my game version is v1.3.1 - single player works great, soon as i go on multiplayer, i see people join GameCentre and then it goes to the multiplayer page then starts saying " Connecting To online Services " then stays on that page for a minute, then says " error on joining room " then it just gives me the option to go back to the main menu, but if someone invites me to a 2player game or something, it works fine - ive been researching this error for 2days now and most people are complaining that the ios6 has messed it up, because someone commented saying they was on 5.1.1 and it works great, just not on ios6... please help to sort this out..
