I have a problem with Call of Duty: Black Ops.
I had reached level 50 in the game, and held that rank for a long time.
When playing I all of a sudden got kicked from the server I was playing on.
When joining another server, I discovered that my rank had been reset to level 1, all weapons and stats gone.
As I feared there was nothing to do but level up again, I was very surprised when i reached level 5 and unlocked the create a class menu. My old weapons and classes are still there, but I am unable to edit or change them in any way. All changes simply revert back to the old class when exiting the menu. The same goes for killstreaks and contracts.
This problem does not seem to go away by itself. Activision support suggested that I keep playing, and maybe my rank and classes would fix themselves. They have after 7 hour ingame not done so. Then they suggested deleting the config files, to see if that could force a reset in my account, this did not nork either.
I have asked them in each mail I have sendt them to reset my account, but I have not been able to get a straight answer from them, just a vague "we might not be able to help you" besides the standard advices.
I am at a loss here!
Can Treyarch or anyone on this forum help me?
Is there somewhere else to turn but Activision support?
