I EMAILED ACTIVSISON ABOUT THE " Encountered a problem and needs to close" error and they responded by saying that if anyone runs COD WAW with an older CPU Mainly a ATHlon XP or Sempron the game will not run because they set it up to where u have to have the ATHLON 64 3200+ because any other cpu before that is NOT SUPPORTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i know what yall are thinking "well u knew that going into it"? well yes and no i knew i was running an older spec but it be nice ( like may other games tell u whats supported and not) if they stated that the processing they set up is only compatible with 64 3200+ and better. I can play crysis just fine and it wants way more processing power than COD WAW but i see what they tried to do they skipped those words they could have labeled on thier box so more would buy it. they are lucky i had already bought a AMD Athlon 64 3700+ prior to getting the game for better processing power cuz i would have wrote a long letter to them. but we will see if wat they say is true? So for all the people having this problem this is the fix BUY ANOTHER CPU LOL but post post post please because i wanna know if u have the required amount and it still dosent work.
