Can't Change Password

Hello,

I am having problems changing my account password. I log in and go to my account and then to edit profile and I type my new password into the "set community password" and "confirm password" boxes and go down to the bottom and click "save changes". After that at the top it says profile information updated or something like that but my password doesn't get changed. When I log out and log back in I have to use my old password. Any one know why this is happening or how to change a password?
