Been happily playing Black Ops on my PC since it came out with nary a problem (well other than freezing a couple of times every game), so I was looking forward to the new patch, hoping it would fix the freezes and maybe the awful spawning.
Anyway, after it updated I couldn't get on, but no sweat, everytime it patches something seems to screw up, so I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Unfortunately, that did not fix the issue. Every time I start the game, it starts to go to the main menu page and then I get a Fatal Error. This is only multiplayer -- I never played the Single Player before, but jumped in last night to check it and that runs okay. I have a high speed cable connection running through a router and I've never had any issues with that. Any suggestions?
*As a side note, I just spent two frustrating days trying to get back on this site. Login for me was fubar, tried creating new account even and that was a failure till just now.
