Idea for less repeat threads... Foxhound read please

Well here is my theory about why people make repeat threads. People like their ideas to be read and responded to. But the thing is, people typically don't read through all of the comments. So if there is a thread about why somebody thinks zombies will be in the game, and somebody else has a different reason why zombies might be in the game, there will most likely become two threads about the same thing but different ideas. Because the second person thought, "Oh there is no way anybody is going to read my post on this thread, so I might as well make a new thread. That way people will see my idea."

So my solution is to have the thread format go something like this...

Opening post

Most recent post

next most recent post

etc...

That way the second persons idea will be read.

You could also maybe let people rate posts, and have the format go like this...

Opening post

Highest rated post

most recent

next most recent

etc...

Also make new threads only start out as 2 HQ points(the same as just regular posts), and if the thread gets a high rating, then give the person who made the thread more HQ points. That way people don't just make the new thread for the points. I don't know, that is just my idea. Another thing you could do is make a system(I don't know how it would work) that gives HQ points for searching. It would be kind of hard to do that, but I think it would help. That is if a good system could be made.

Have at least five mega threads that will be permastickied (Yeah I just made that up do you have a problem? :P ) for everybody to post on.

There are too many repeat posts, and not enough of you to shut them down.
