Help, problems with P.C. version..

So today i went and picked up my pre-ordered copy of WaW.
I got home, installed it.
Everything seemed fine.
I went to play it and my game does not load up..
The logo appears, then goes black, then my regualr screen appears with all my icon and everything.
Im sure many are having this problem, but i do not feel like searching through forums to find my anwser.
I installed the latest DX drivers, and am in the process of downloading the new patch.
All i want to do is beat the campaign, and i cant even play it.
My computer is can play CoD4, so i assume it can play this game.
Should i re-install?
