Hello all. I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figured you all might be able to help me. I use a PS3.
I'm playing the Japanese version of Black Ops since I'm a grad student in Japan, and well, that's what they sell here. I've noticed that I have a VERY hard time joining multiplayer matches, specifically the zombie mode. I will literally have the damn thing sitting on search for two hours, with no match, and sometimes it will just say "error" and have to go back to the main menu. Finding multiplayer matches on the basic modes sometimes takes up to 10 minutes as well, and that is when the servers aren't suddenly shutting down for no reason.
I'm about to just quit and sell this thing to a used game store for $40 (yes, they buy the game at that price here) as it is becoming like a 45 minute wait at a disneyland ride just to play one game.
Am I really the only person having this problem? Is it because of the servers in Japan maybe? I seem to connect to some on the West Coast of the US, and play with English speaking players, so it isn't just Japan.
On a side note, I don't have this problem with other games(Bad Company 2, or other FPS games), so I wasn't sure if this was maybe a settings specific problem.
