So, I've been fighting with this for about 2 hours now. Today when I went to play Black Ops on 360, a game update was available. When I tried to download the update, my system froze. To my dismay, I had to shut the system off, which I know is very ill advised during an update. Now, every single time I try to get on Black Ops, it disconnects me from Xbox Live and I have to restart to system for it to even reconnect. It doesn't ask me to do the system update or anything at this point.
I've deleted all my Black Ops data from the hard drive and cleared the system cache. I even reset my modem, router, and my xbox connection to my router, but still nothing. Any suggestions on what to do at this point? I really don't want to reformat my hard drive seeing that I have a TON of DLC that takes forever to download again and game saves I DO NOT want to lose. Sure, I could back them up on a flash drive, but I don't have access to one at the moment.
