While playing World at War and Modern Warfare I encounter severe mouse lag when looking around, which only gets worse when I try to move + rotate the mouse. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I am using the same, if not better, hardware than I have in the past to run these games.
I can rule out any video, processor, or memory lag:
I play games such as Crysis at 100%, so it is obviously not a hardware problem.
This is, however, my first time attempting to run either World at War or Modern Warfare 1 on this operating system. (Windows 7 x64) If anyone else here runs these games without these problems on the same operating system then that would rule the OS out as well.
I've already tried using different mice, uninstalling the mouse drivers, running the game in compatibility mode (Vista and XP), reinstalling, and calling it mean names.
If anyone has any helpful advise please inform!

- CPU: Phenom II 995 X4 3.2Ghz
- RAM: 4G
