Please address and fix the major lag spikes every 2 minutes or so people are having with Core-2 Duo CPU's. There are over 1,200 posts on Steam forums with the same issue here is a link http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1570196 . The game maxes out my E8400 CPU. I do not have a virus, or add ware, or bloat ware. My AV is turned off when playing and my CPU at idle is between 0-4% I should be able to play this game just fine with normal setting but I can't because the game has my CPU (and everyone else) at 90%-100% all the time. Changing the setting to low or high have no effect on the CPU problem.
My system is up to date with current drivers. I can play DX10 and DX11 games just fine and its only this game we are having problems with.
My system specs are:
CPU E8400 Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz
8GB XMS2 System Ram
EVGA GTX 460 1GB DDR5
Vista 64
